The following is the preliminary specification for a brushless, direct current motor with integral commutation:

1. Power input: 14 Volts DC, 70 Amperes (intenally limited). Total powar 980 Watts DC

2. Torque/RPM output: 1 foot-pound 1300 RPM

3. Features:
a. Neodymiumiron magnets
b. Controls in rear of moter
c. Unipolar commutation with 4 quadrant operation

4. Mechanical
a. Dimensions 3" diameter by 3" long. Shaft .375"
b. Mounting: 4 1/4-24 holes on 1* R located on front plate.
c. Weight: 2.5 pounds (tentative)

5. Operational parameters:
a. Temperature: Emrironment -25 to +40 degrees C; Temperature rise 50 degrees C

c. 12 Volt DC control requirement = 100 ma @ 12 to 15 Volts
